    Today will be a very exquisite day at Del Mar and I recomend that you come with an empty stomach, you will want all the space you can to eat as much as you want during the Food Truck Festival. Over 50 food trucks from the region will be available for you to try... doesn't it sounds delicious?

    Someone that is also doing a comeback to Del Mar is jockey Patrick Valenzuela, who is returning to ride horses after a successful knee surgery. He's one of the top jockeys of all time. He has three mounts today and we wish him luck in his return... and now that we're talking about jockeys, Garrett Gomez was given conditional approval to ride again, after meeting yesterday with the stewards. He's just awaiting the results of a urine test that shows if he's clean or not. If everything is right, he can start exercising horses next Tuesday. Hopefully we'll see him at the paddock and winning races very soon.

    As expected, the carryover for the Pick 6 went higher and since no one got it yesterday, now racing fans are looking to a carryover of $619,482. Today, the talk is that it might go up to 3-4 million dollars.  Remember that the Pick-6 involves the last 6 races of the card and this time, races 5 to 10 are involved.
