     Sometimes changes are good and this time I wanted to give you all this information before having my little segment at XX Sports AM 1090 (http://xxsportsradio.com), during the "Del Mar Direct" radio show, where Toby Turrell hosts the show from 9 to 10 am (12-1pm ET).

     Talking about changes, jockey Garret Gomez has finally changed his daily routine: he;s back at horses! On Thursday afternoon he was given clearance to ride again and today will be his comeback to the races. Get ready to see him at the paddock and winning races very soon, because he already has good horses on his book, including one mount for the Pacific Classic.

    Is time for a giveaway! That means get early to the track, because the track will be offering one really cool beach cooler with every paid admission (while supplies last, of course).

  By the way, let me tell you that we have a T-Shirt logo winner!  That's right, the fans have voted and now we know how the Del Mar short from this year will look.
 
  As you might remember, this year there was a contest to submit you logo for this shirt. Out of more than 100 logos, 10 were selected and from there and a local designer was the lucky one. He won $1,000 and a VIP day at the racetrack. All I can say is that is that the logo really festive!

   You can get it with a paid admission during the Pacific Classica Day (August 25). Today should be a good preview of giveaway crowds.
