Not only we had lots of winners yesterday at all the tracks covered (Santa Anita, Oaklawn Park and Keeneland), we also have a better idea of how the next weeks will unfold until the Kentucky Derby, since every weekend might seem like this one: lots of big prize races across the country... and we'll track them! Isn't that nice to know?
MIZDIRECTION won the Las Cienegas Stakes at Santa Anita, after a change of track that went from turf to dirt, switch that left UNZIP ME out of the competiiton, giving both trainer Mike Puype and owner Jim Rome an easy win. MIZDIRECTION was ridden by jockey David Flores.
Today at Santa Anita, on a very much lower competition level, there are 9 races.
