Closing Day Picks (September 7)

Good morning everyone, Paddock girl here:

It's our last day here at Del Mar. Is sunny, hot and beautiful as usual (except for last Monday with all the raindrops we had). Some people have left already, but most of us are still here, counting the hours until this beautiful racetracks give us a last race this season.
However, don't think that you'll hear from me until next July. Paddock girl will still be here this year, at least during the important races of Southern California and the Breeders' Cup. Of course I'll cover the Triple Crown in 2012 and other races. I have also more surprises to come and I'll be visiting some tracks in the country, so keep checking this blog in the next months, ok?
You can become a follower, so you receive a notification every time I post something new... isn't that cool?
Taking about cool, we did good last Monday: three wins for our for selected races, including the Palomar Handicap, where CITY TO CITY delivered just in time to win.
Tomorrow, we'll have a Del Mar wrap up and some interesting stats for you to enjoy.
Now, let's go and check our closing day picks for Del Mar. There are 10 races, including three featured races in today's race card: the C.E.R.F. Stakes, the Pirate's Bounty Stakes and the Del Mar Futurity.
