WOW, the Pacific Classic gave us classic thrills when all the horses were looking for the $1 million prize. The fight between Acclamation and Twirling Candy was pure fun. As you know, at the end Acclamation won, making clear that he still has a lot to show in the future, just like Patrick Valenzuela, who went back to the winners' circle for this race after 20 years.
Also, The Factor delivered on the Pat O' Brien Stakes and Celtic New Year won on the Del Mar Handicap.
Almost 30, 000 got a chance to see all this at the racetrack, where most of them received a sports bag at the entrance... and I'm sure most of them will tell you that it was worth it.
